All FINA Convention delegates will join us for the Opening Ceremony of the 13th FINA World Swimming Championships (25m).

The FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) is a biennial event that has grown dramatically over the past 23 years.

The 13th edition of these Championships will be staged in Windsor from 6-11 December 2016. Almost 1,000 of the world’s best swimmers, from over 175 countries, are expected to attend for 6 days of intensive competition in the dramatic setting of the Windsor Family Credit Union (WFCU) Centre.

Over the 6 days, these global stars of the pool will compete for 46 gold medals, guaranteeing a once-in-a-lifetime experience for everyone with the opportunity to participate or attend.

The inaugural edition took place in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, in December 1993. 313 swimmers from 43 countries participated, breaking 15 World Records and establishing the event’s paramount position in the sporting calendar.
